Zine Fest 2025
We have extremely exciting news, zinesters! After the successful completion of volume one, I was encouraged by a good friend to submit our zine to Tucson's annual "Zine Fest"!

To my delight and surprise, we were accepted as an entry! I feel extremely encouraged and supported by everyone who helped bring this project to life - and I can't wait to share it with others in our community, while getting to see a whole new host of other zines (in past years, they've been extremely interesting and formative - a zine is one of the first things that introduced me to safe administration of Narcan, for example).
I have deliberated long and hard about charging for the zine - when the first edition came out, I distributed every copy for free (out of 30 physical copies) and that was fair because the cost of production was next to nothing. However, with the request for more copies, the creation of a website, and tabling fees, I think I'm going to charge a small fee at Zinefest with NOTAFLOF terms. Ideally this will cover all the maintenance fees - and if we manage to take in more than we need, we can save it for our monthly hosting costs or collectively donate to an organization supporting good mental health practices.
I'm so excited to get started on the next volume, zinesters! Fingers cross we can finish volume 2 by Zine Fest - be sure and say hi if you swing by to pick up a copy!
